-In total, the annual burden from a cap-and-trade program would be $144.9 billion n American households, which would be about $1,218 per household.

-The analysis also shows that the burden of cap-and-trade would be disproportionately borne by low-income households because they tend to spend a larger fraction of their income on carbon-intensive products

Since the goal of this cap-and-trade program is to steadily reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide in a cost-effective manner. Thus, there are few states who actually using the program for they can see that employing this will reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that cause climate change. In my opinion, this is a good project for we badly needs to act now in preserving Mother Nature and not feast on celebrity issues like on Susan Dey. We have to act now or it'll be too late.
